Job description
● We are looking for an experienced Frontend Web Developer with Shopify and Liquid expertise who strives to do high-quality work and thrives on collaboration and working as part of a team.
● You should have a strong grasp of responsive website design and development patterns, principles and workflow.
● To achieve this integrated approach, Shopify expert must have a deep understanding of user experience and creative aesthetics while implementing across multi-device layouts.
● You would also be responsible for all aspects of front-end architecture and development including all project-related browser and server technologies responsible for rendering the user experience.
● Good understanding of Liquid frameworks and its components Objects, Filters, tags
● Prior experience on Shopify App development must using PHP
● Experience in integrating APIs (Stripe, PayPal, Google Maps, ERP, Facebook etc) in a web application is desired
● Analyze project specifications and translate them into technical specification
● Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules, Plugins
● API integration with third-party tools, plug-ins services
● Troubleshoot, test [cross browser compatibility] and maintain databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
● Preparing documentation of code
● Experience in Shopify Plus and B2B modules
● Experience with ERP Integrations
What you'll need to succeed
● Strong experience within the eCommerce/Retail domain.
● At least 3-5 years of development experience in the Shopify platform
● Commercial experience building and maintaining themes with Shopify
● Experience as a Frontend Developer with a fluent knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue
● Plus if you have some experience with a backend language such as Node JS / Python / GO / PHP for creating Custom app, Public App, Private Apps
● Good knowledge of using continuous integration / continuous deployment tools
● Experience with app builds (frontend or backend)
● Experience working with Invision, Sketch or Figma
● Excellent communication skills-written and verbal
● Experience working as part of a team
