Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)

Interview Type: Onsite (based on candidate's location – McLean, RVA, or Plano)

Interview Process: One-round, 1.5-hour panel interview including a coding exercise (JavaScript)

Position Summary

As a Senior ServiceNow Platform Engineer, you will work hands-on with CMDB, IT Asset Management, and integrations. You'll lead software craftsmanship, collaborate across Agile teams, and deliver reliable, scalable solutions using cutting-edge tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop ServiceNow CMDB and IT Asset Management modules
• Integrate with enterprise tools/systems
• Work with product owners on application capabilities and testing scenarios
• Improve software engineering practices
• Contribute across Agile teams on full-stack technical solutions
• Promote resilience, availability, scalability, and engineering best practices
• Stay current on tech trends and mentor other engineers
  
  

Required Skills – Mid-Level

• 3+ years in IT Asset Management
• 3+ years in CMDB
• 3+ years in Workflow Development
• API integration experience
• Proficient in JavaScript
  
  

Required Skills – Senior-Level

• 7+ years of ServiceNow platform/application development
• Strong experience with:
• CMDB and IT Asset Management
• ServiceNow objects (tables, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, UI policies, script includes, workflows)
• REST/SOAP integrations, GlideScript, and JavaScript
• Functional data setup (Notifications, SLAs)
• Ability to translate business needs into technical stories and testing strategies
• Mentor engineering teams and contribute to overall system architecture
  

Nice To Have

• ITSM (Incident/Change Management)
• ServiceNow Developer Certification
• AWS experience (recent migrations)
• Apache Hive and SQL
  
  

Project Scope

• Customer Status Qualifier: Utilize customer interaction datasets to improve business insight
• Build and maintain data pipelines
• Lead code reviews and CI/CD processes
• Proof-of-concept and production readiness validation
