Senior ServiceNow Developer

As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will work on a wide variety of Service Catalog projects to help craft sophisticated, robust, and scalable Catalog solutions. This role is primarily a development role to build out and maintain our Service Catalog hosted on our Service Portal. You will also share your knowledge and experience with team members, to increase our efficacy and breadth of understanding of the platform and how best to realize value within it. Note: This role is not involved in configuring existing or new modules outside of the Service Catalog, nor is this role involved in bi-annual platform upgrades or patching.

What will your role be responsible for?

• Participate and lead design workshops, development, testing and deployment activities;
• Assist in developing strategies to support requests for information and data;
• Work with business area and IT users to deliver solutions based upon current needs and trends;
• Manage multiple requests of various sizes and work with multiple business areas;
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail;
• Comfortably and frequently cross over between technical and business jargon;
• Thrive in a team-oriented, collaborative environment; and
• Ability to analyze and test proposed changes to business-related application information in ServiceNow.

What do we expect from you?

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, MIS or related degree or five (5) years of related experience or combination of education, training and experience; Minimum of 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development
• Prior hands-on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large scale projects from end-to-end.
• Experience in developing, modifying and supporting ServiceNow workflows, forms, lists, business rules, and scripts using general languages and technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Jelly, Glide, HTML, CSS, Angular, REST and SOAP)
• Configuration of: user interface modifications, workflow administration, report and dashboard design, data imports, integration and scripting
• Experience building ServiceNow applications and vendor integrations which support business process and workflow automation
• Exceptional problem-solving, excellence in communicating (both written and oral) and have strong interpersonal skills; and taking initiative to make decisions, identify and recommend improvements, when required
• Strong preference for a background in or certification in ITSM (ITIL) processes that includes Service Catalog.

Salary Range: BC (based on Education, Work Experience, etc) $100,000-125,000 in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.
