Job Description:

A ServiceNow Application Developer at Crowe is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing applications on the ServiceNow platform to meet organizational needs. This role involves creating custom applications, enhancing existing functionalities, and ensuring the platform's optimal performance through innovative solutions. Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in ServiceNow development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Application Development: Design and develop custom applications, services, and processes on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring they meet business requirements and standards.
  • Platform Enhancement: Enhance existing applications and functionalities to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Integration Development: Develop integrations with other systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve application-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • System Upgrades: Assist with system upgrades, patches, and releases to keep the platform up-to-date and secure.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of application designs, configurations, and processes for future reference and auditing purposes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise in application development.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure compliance with organizational policies and security standards, implementing necessary controls to protect sensitive data.

Skills

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in ServiceNow application development, including scripting, UI design, and integration.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve application issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with users and stakeholders effectively.
  • Module Experience: Experience in ITSM, CSM, ITOM, SPM, IRM, and platform development.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and quality.
  • Development Languages: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS, and REST/SOAP APIs
  • Platform Expertise: Proficiency in developing and configuring applications on the ServiceNow platform
  • Integration: Experience in integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems
  • Scripting: Advanced scripting skills in ServiceNow, including business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and script includes
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Qualifications/Certifications

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ServiceNow Certified System Admin (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) are preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of prior experience in ServiceNow application development or a similar role is highly desirable.
