Job description
Design and implement secure architectures for GCP-based systems, services, and applications
Ensure cloud resources comply to company policies and requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into the development lifecycle
Develop and maintain cloud security policies, procedures, and standards
Secure scalable landing zone setup
Monitor and analyze GCP resources for potential security threats, identifying areas for improvement
Lead the design, evaluation, implementation and deployment of new security technologies in the cloud security filed
Conduct security threat and risk assessments to ensure cloud infrastructure and applications are secure
Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership and customers
Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, technologies, and best practices
Requirements
In-depth knowledge of GCP services (e.g., compute engine, cloud Storage, cloud database services)
Expertise in cloud security technologies (e.g., Identity and Access Management (IAM), Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, APIs)
Advanced experience with Terraform
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls).
Familiarity with containerization platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) and serverless computing
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Experience with cloud-based Devops tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, Docker)
Great enthusiasm for Information Security
Intrinsic motivation, never ending curiosity
Quick thinking and continuous learning personality and thus are able to dive into new topics quickly, filter and digest the relevant information
Inquisitive and analytical mindset
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
