We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer with strong project management capabilities to join our client's Cybersecurity team. This role is primarily focused on managing and coordinating security technology projects-from planning to implementation-working closely with internal stakeholders and the security engineering team.

You will lead the rollout of key cybersecurity tools such as Splunk, Forescout, Darktrace, CyberArk, and Cisco Firepower, managing 2-3 concurrent projects at any given time.

While this is not a hands-on technical deployment role, a solid understanding of cybersecurity tools and enterprise security concepts is required to effectively drive project success and stakeholder alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate security tool implementation projects, including timelines, resources, risks, and communication with key stakeholders.
• Oversee the rollout of cybersecurity solutions such as Splunk, Forescout, Darktrace, Imperva, Illumio, CyberArk, and Cisco Firepower, ensuring alignment with business and security objectives.
• Develop and document SOC procedures and processes, incorporating industry best practices and aligning with internal standards.
• Support or lead initiatives aimed at enhancing SOC effectiveness, ensuring continuous improvement in detection, response, and monitoring capabilities.
• Serve as a liaison between cybersecurity teams and other business or technical units to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to senior leadership.

Requirements:

• Minimally 5 years of experience, with exposure working with standard enterprise security tools such as:
• SIEM (e.g., Splunk)
• Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (e.g., Cisco Firepower)
• Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)
• Zero Trust Segmentation
• Database Activity Monitoring
• Proven experience in managing security-related projects in a large enterprise environment.
• Strong project coordination skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives concurrently.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts, trends, and enterprise security architecture.
• Experience in documenting and improving SOC procedures and operational processes.
