Responsibilities: * Associate threat intelligence data with vulnerability data to provide end-to-end cycle view of remediation progress and burndown; * Design and maintain data pipelines, stored procedures and databases, and troubleshoot data gaps and/or data quality issues; * Use statistical tools to interpret large data sets to drive predictive analytics efforts; * Develop security focused insights to drive compliance of configuration of systems, provide reporting to operations teams to improve hardening stance of software, engage with DevOps leads to get buy in, provide automated notifications of slippages and compliance numbers; * Communicate story and agenda development, based on insights extracted from data, to senior management and executive leadership; * Take on new challenges from these high level interactions and ensure follow throughs to completion; * Participate in creation and development of internal portal to present security data to different stakeholders and functions to drive self-service remediation data retrieval, documentation of risk exceptions, providing trending analytics to senior management, and automating said updates of new reports to all functional groups and teams; and * Set the foundation and data pipeline across security teams for trending and pattern analysis, such as remediation diligence, coverage indicators, by team, function, organization, leaders, etc. What we're looking for: * Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, a related field, or a foreign degree equivalent; * Must have 3 years of experience in job offered or related occupation; * Must have 3 years of experience in retrieving data and feeds through SQL, Python, R, and APIs from various security sources such as Qualys, Prisma, and MySQL databases to identify vulnerabilities, unauthorized applications, unapproved operating systems, and to track security compliance across systems; * Must have 3 years of experience in assuring data quality to address data gaps in inventory management, including data from C1 Secure, and vulnerability, application, and software information from Qualys and Prisma; * Must have 3 years of experience in automating data pipelines, built using Python, MySQL, and the AWS stack, to retrieve, transform, and load data from various security tools like Qualys and Prisma into databases for analysis, to support data feeds into the Security Apex Portal, generate vulnerability management reports, automate FTC documentation reporting, and ensure timely, accurate data delivery for teams focused on vulnerability remediation; * Must have 3 years of experience in developing reporting and dashboard using tableau to provide teams with real-time access to critical data, including CIS scan results, vulnerability reports, and FTC documentation; * Must have 3 years of experience in communicating with stakeholders to share insights into vulnerability statuses, audit results, CIS compliance, and progress on key security projects; * Must have 3 years of experience in communicating complex ideas including explaining the technical aspects of vulnerability management and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements like FTC and CIS standards; * Must have 3 years of experience in developing analytical frameworks to support decision making using Python to code the logic, REACT to build the user interface, the AWS stack (including Airflow, S3, and S3 Glacier) for automation, and MySQL for data storage; * Must have 3 years of experience in working with large datasets in relational databases, distributed systems and distributed service providers to generate reports, dashboards, metrics, and analyses on large datasets utilizing MySQL databases and Python scripts; * Must have 3 years of experience in cross functional collaboration with engineering, security, compliance, and audit teams to prioritize vulnerabilities, assist in meeting SLA requirements, and provide detailed vulnerability reports; * Must have 3 years of experience in continuous improvement of analytical models using MySQL to extract data and Python libraries like Pandas and NumPy to clean and process the data to ensure accurate model performance; * Must have 3 years of experience in implementing Data Governance and frameworks such as CIS, FTC, and PCI DSS using Qualys and Prisma; * Must have 3 years of experience in Project Management and prioritization of multiple projects, prioritizing backlog tasks, and working with teams to gather feature enhancement requirements; and * Must have 3 years of experience in scripting and programming using MySQL, Python, and the AWS Stack (S3, Airflow, Python, Elastic Load Balancing, AWS IAM, DB) to automate reports, provide metrics, and build a robust data pipeline using vulnerability data from Qualys and Prisma. * Telecommuting work arrangement permitted: position may work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Position does not require domestic or international travel.
