We are looking for a Spark/Scala Engineer to join an exciting project focused on digital transformation and AI-powered solutions in industries such as retail, financial services, manufacturing, and IT operations. The product is used by thousands of enterprise clients worldwide and tackles high-impact use cases like financial crime prevention and compliance automation.

Responsibilities

• Gain a deep understanding of fraud detection and compliance within the financial services domain
• Implement high-quality, scalable features
• Participate in technical design sessions and create documentation as needed
• Develop, debug, and test product features in line with internal quality standards
• Diagnose and resolve functional and performance issues
• Collaborate with the team to meet the Definition of Done (DoD) and address product-related challenges
• Engage in knowledge sharing within internal engineering communities
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience developing large-scale enterprise applications
• Solid hands-on experience with Scala (2+ years)
• Strong proficiency in Apache Spark
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
