On behalf of our client Affinity is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, customization, and enhancement of Salesforce solutions. This is a remote opportunity within Canada for an experienced Salesforce professional who is passionate about hands-on development and driving impactful solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and collaborate with Salesforce development teams to design, create, and enhance Salesforce applications and solutions.
• Work closely with business leaders, product owners, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Customize Salesforce applications, build scalable solutions, and ensure flexibility and maintainability.
• Handle enhancement requests, support, and maintain the Salesforce platform, ensuring high-quality results.
• Mentor and guide junior team members to ensure technical excellence and best practices.
• Stay current with new Salesforce features and releases to continuously improve the solutions you develop.
• Work in a consultative manner to improve communication and collaboration across teams, ensuring alignment on project goals.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of Salesforce implementation and development experience.
• Proven experience in developing and customizing Salesforce applications, including integrations with third-party technologies.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality to make effective technical decisions.
• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce App Builder are required.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and business judgment skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide a development team while maintaining a focus on quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations (SOAP, REST APIs).
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Java, C++, and XML.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in SCRUM teams.
