A Moving Experience. We have an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious, solution-orientated salesperson with a strong technical background to join our expanding team. The role will focus on expanding our relationships with existing customers in the transportation industry whilst providing further revenue opportunities through pre-sales solution consultancy and compelling sales solutions. You will become an expert in ur futuristic Gen AI driven product range which shapes the way our customers enable advanced AI-powered mobility solutions for the transportation space.
Responsibilities
o Work directly with our customers (OEM’s, Tier 1’s) primarily in the automotive industry and adjacent markets such as 2-wheeler or trucks, also on-site, to understand their business needs, value drivers and technical requirements
o Position Cerence innovations, products, solutions, and services accordingly
o Lead and manage:
§ Solution definitions
§ RFQ / RFI responses
§ Effort and cost estimates
§ Creation of statements of work
o Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders from account management, professional services and engineering organizations, as well as external stakeholders from customer side
o Design and provide presentations to customers, selling value propositions and solutions based on the corresponding technical setup
o Present product and solution demos to customers
Requirements
o University bachelor’s degree with engineering context (masters is a plus)
o Experience in software development
o Familiarity with infotainment and software as a service
o 5 years + experiences in the automotive industry (OEM’s, Tier 1’s)
o Customer-facing experience, customer focused approach
o High proficiency in oral and written communication/presentation skills in Japanese and English
o Willingness to travel
o Strong team-player, self-motivated
o Proficient computer user
o Experiences with speech solutions are a plus but not a requirement
