We are seeking a dynamic Senior Sales Engineer with 8+ years of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in CAD software solutions. Engineering Services and machine tools. The ideal candidate will drive sales growth, manage key accounts, and develop strong customer relationships to support our expansion in the Pune region.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in Engineering Services.
Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Conduct product presentations, technical demonstrations, and solution-selling to customers.
Work closely with application engineers and technical teams to deliver customized solutions.
Meet and exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and profitability metrics.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and strategic plans for management.
Represent the company at trade shows, seminars, and industry events.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Production Engineering or related field (MBA is a plus).
Minimum 8 years of sales experience in CAD software, CAM solutions, PLM, or machine tools.
Strong technical understanding of CAD/CAM software and Engineering Services.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong network of contacts in the manufacturing, engineering, or automotive sectors.
Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
Willingness to travel across the assigned region.
