Job Description and Duties:
The California State Lottery (Lottery) is looking for a talented Senior Risk & Process Evaluation Analyst for its Enterprise Risk & Optimization Section. Under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager II (ITM II), the Information Technology Specialist II (ITS II) works as part of an independent body of staff who is responsible for leading departmental teams to perform a variety of complex and sensitive tasks in support of the California State Lottery (Lottery). The Senior Enterprise Risk & Optimization Analyst is responsible for enterprise risk management (ERM), business and technology process improvement/re-engineering, process and technical solution evaluation & implementation, and system management & administration of a Microsoft SharePoint document repository.
This position is headquartered at the Sacramento HQ and is eligible for either a remote-based or office-based telework schedule. Employees must be able to report to their assigned headquarters office as needed. Travel expense to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee. Eligibility for telework requires employee residence in California per California Government Code Section 14200 which states: “telecommuting means the partial or total substitution of computers or telecommunication technologies, or both, for the commute to work by employees residing in California.
