About the role:
This position will be part of the Recruiting Operations and Programs team, contributing to Samsara's growth by supporting teams to attract and hire top talent. We design and lead programs supporting a scalable, standardized, and objective recruiting ecosystem. We aim to optimize the hiring process and ensure our candidate experience is best-in-class.
As a Recruiting Operations Program Manager, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the infrastructure of our recruitment process through thoughtful process and technology enhancements. Engaging directly with the core of our hiring teams-the recruiters and interviewers-you'll have the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment that values effective hiring solutions. This is a remote position open to candidates residing in the US except Alaska, Austin Metro, Boulder Metro, California, Chicago Metro, Connecticut, Dallas Metro, Denver Metro, Houston Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Seattle Metro, and Washington, D.C.

In this role, you will:
* Streamline communication with candidates by coordinating closely with hiring teams to enhance the candidate experience.
* Evaluate and enhance current recruiting workflows for better efficiency. Design new processes and facilitate workshops to drive continuous improvement in recruitment. Utilize technology to simplify and streamline recruitment activities.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with departmental leaders to gain a deep understanding of hiring needs. Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings to ensure alignment on recruitment priorities. Collaborate with HR and legal teams to uphold compliance in all recruiting practices.
* Develop and deliver training programs to elevate recruiters' skills, and provide them with resources and tools for efficient hiring processes. Implement a knowledge-sharing platform to facilitate the exchange of best practices among recruiters. Organize regular sessions aimed at skill-building to continuously improve recruitment practices.

Minimum requirements for the role:
* 8+ years of total professional experience
* 3+ years of Program Management experience supporting People/HR teams
* Proven ability to work cross-functionally to understand business requirements and translate them to effective use of applications
* Top-notch critical thinking skills with the ability to break down ambiguous problems into concrete, manageable components and think through optimal solutions
* Effectively communicate vision, strategy, and statuses of projects to leaders and internal stakeholders
* Experience designing and launching projects successfully on tight timelines
* History of productive collaboration with multiple organizational departments
* Proven experience in leading continuous improvement
An ideal candidate also has:
* Previous success in process optimization within a recruiting environment
* Experience with HR software such as Workday or Greenhouse
* Ability to develop and implement training modules
* Experience managing programs in recruitment operations or talent acquisition
