For our client, one of the world's largest provider of Automatic Test Equipment (Chip Test Systems for the Semiconductor Industry), we are looking for a Senior C++ R&D Software Engineer in permanent employment:

Job Description:

• Develop software for next-generation SoC (System on a Chip) Testsolutions with a focus on the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
• Work closely with other R&D teams, solution architects, and customer experts.
• Analyze complex problems and develop new solutions for cutting-edge technology.
• Work with state-of-the-art tools and development environments to implement new features with high quality.
• Be a self-reliant team member, an accountable contributor and/or owner for the software modules under your care.
• Work in an environment following agile principles.

Requirements:

• Completed studies in computer science or practical experience in a similar field.
• Strong programming skills in C++
• At least 4-6 years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Deep understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and OO development methods and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to independently complete projects, and interact with various stakeholders.
• Experience with agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Test Driven Development).
• Fluent in English.
• Enjoy working in a global team while taking personal responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fluency in German is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of GIT, JIRA
• Good Linux/Unix knowledge.
• Understanding of ICs and electronic measurement technology.
• Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.
• Experience in customer or cross-functional collaboration.
