The Opportunity
With our projects growing in scale and complexity, we are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor will manage the procurement and contract administration function on BakerHicks (the Company) projects which involves supply chain development, procurement strategy, tendering and evaluation, negotiation and contract management.
About You
- You will have had previous experience in the procurement and contract management/administration of goods and services in the construction industry and will be a key member of the project delivery teams for a range of challenging projects of significant scale and complexity. Experience in regulated process sectors would be an advantage.
- You will have extensive experience as a procurement / contracts manager in the construction or related industries.
- Prior experience working as a procurement / contracts manager in a regulated sector
- Good knowledge of the engineering and construction market preferably gained with an engineering contractor
- Strong knowledge of all commonly used model Forms of contract for UK services and supplies specifically the NEC contracts.
- Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors with relevant procurement experience (preferable)
- Relevant degree
