Meet the Quality Engineering team

Our Quality Engineers work across our suite of products, meeting the highest standards of quality and performance. They define, implement and maintain rigorous testing processes, enabling us to deliver seamless and reliable services to our global customer base. They are a team of keen learners who stay on top of their game with the latest AWS services and a desire to drive the automation of all aspects of testing and quality assurance.

What You'll Do

As our product offering continues to expand and increases in adoption, it's critical we have the continued capacity not just to keep up with the rate of testing but also to keep expanding our Test Automation coverage. As the newest member of our Quality Engineering team, you'll work closely with other members of the QE team and with other skilled Engineers to develop robust testing frameworks and automation processes. Your day to day will look like this:

• Oversee the day to day tasks of Quality Engineers to ensure delivery of high quality software
• Creating test automation code whilst adhering to best practice principles
• Contribute to skilling up QE Team members through workshops, training, and paired programming sessions
• Perform code reviews to ensure compliance to established test frameworks
• Execute regression, smoke & exploratory test cycles on the products offered by the organisation
• Take active role in QE process improvements to help increase quality in software delivery
• Assist and support Dev and DevOps teams with Continuous Delivery infrastructure
• Mentor and oversight of junior members of the QE Team
  
  

What you'll bring

You'll need at least 5 years experience in Quality Assurance or Test Engineering roles, along with:

• Proficiency in programming languages like Typescript, Javascript, C#, Java. Javascript & Typescript are preferable.
• Proven hands on expertise in developing data driven Web, Mobile & API test automation using modern open source frameworks & tools
• Proficiency in best-practice development and automation within quality engineering practices, especially with CI/CD
• Experience in developing and executing Performance/Load Testing Plans.
• Proficiency in interrogating both SQL and Non-SQL Databases
• Proficiency using testing frameworks across different platforms eg Web, Mobile & Desktop
• Proficiency in using distributed source and version control tools
• Knowledge and experience in Cloud Technologies, specifically AWS
• Knowledge of session based testing
• Proven experience with testing multiple products in parallel
