• The qualified candidate must possess the following skills and experience:3–5 years of QA/UAT experience with enterprise applications
• Familiarity with Salesforce or Clariti platforms preferred
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Zephyr (or equivalent)
• Able to write and maintain detailed test plans and cases
• Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating across roles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

1. Provide UAT Execution Summary Reports (Clariti)
2. Prepare internal QA test plans and SOPs
3. Prepare Jira and Zephyr configuration and usage guides
4. Develop and maintain QA Dashboard with metrics (coverage, bugs, velocity)
5. Create and update documentation for QA Environment setup
6. Deliver monthly progress reports
7. Other related tasks identified by LADBS.

JD:

The Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS) Technology Services Bureau (TSB) has a need for Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to provide Quality Assurance /User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support for Clariti, a Saleforce-based solution, implementation and internal systems testing, which is part of the LA City Permitting System (LACPS).

The QA Engineers will perform UAT for Clariti in collaboration with vendor (Unisys) deliverables. They will learn LADBS business workflows and Clariti (Salesforcebased) system functions; review, validate, and execute UAT test cases prepared by the vendor; facilitate UAT sessions with LADBS staff and track defects in Jira. Additionally, they will participate in defect triage and ensure regression testing is completed for retested items; and review Zephyr test coverage to verify user story traceability.

The QA Engineers will also modernize QA practices for internally developed LADBS applications. They will set up set up QA test environments for LADBSdeveloped systems; implement standardized QA practices as outlined in the LADBS QA Project Plan; author and maintain reusable test cases and regression suites; coordinate with developers to verify build health before deeper test execution for LADBS internal apps; configure and maintain Jira/Zephyr for test management and issue tracking; and conduct internal QA reviews with developers, analysts, and project managers

In addition, the QA Engineers will provide project management support by maintaining QA dashboards and reporting on test progress.. This also includes coordinating with developers, analysts, business units, and vendors. They will also assist in backlog refinement for QA tasks and test case documentation.
