Key elements of the job: Collaborate with business stakeholders and the development team to comprehend APP testing and business requirements. Oversee the scheduling of APP testing activities, develop detailed test plans, test cases, defect tickets, and reports. Perform thorough functional and performance testing, acceptance and regression testing, front-end and back-end testing, and verify fixes. Maintain and enhance QA procedures and standards, including test planning, test data preparation, and test automation. Develop and execute test cases/scripts to ensure comprehensive functional coverage and deliver high-quality software applications. Design, implement, and analyze quality assurance metrics such as defect details/summary, test results, and test status. Offer practical suggestions for improving product quality. The ideal candidate: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in software testing and quality assurance. Familiarity with the entire software lifecycle and Agile methodologies. Strong understanding of Quality Assurance best practices and techniques. Proficient in test case management, version control, and defect tracking. Experience in functional, performance, regression, and integration testing. Knowledge of preparing test data metrics and using defect tracking tools. Working knowledge of cloud technologies and experience in testing mobile app products. Proficiency in scripting and automation is a plus. Experience or knowledge in the financial industry.
