Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer to lead and scale automated testing across complex platforms including web, mobile, and APIs. You'll work closely with engineering and DevOps teams to build robust automated test coverage, ensure high code quality, and implement scalable QA practices. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for quality engineering, problem solving, and a strong interest in collaborative, high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

Test Automation & QA Strategy:

- Develop, maintain, and expand automation test suites for frontend, backend, and mobile applications

- Tools: Cypress, Playwright, Detox, SpecFlow, JMeter

- Collaborate with developers and QA to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, Jenkins)

- Define and maintain test cases using best practices

- Build performance and accessibility test coverage (WCAG compliance)

- Drive testing strategy, processes, and reporting

Collaboration & Communication:

- Partner with developers, product owners, and UX designers to clarify test requirements

- Review PRs and help define acceptance criteria for user stories

- Support release management with automated smoke and regression tests

Mentorship & Technical Leadership:

- Coach QA engineers and junior testers in automation frameworks

- Drive test coverage improvements and testing best practices

- Advocate for a culture of quality within the development lifecycle

Skills & Experience

Essential:

- 5+ years of experience in software QA, with strong focus on test automation

- Proven experience with modern tools (Playwright, Cypress, Detox, SpecFlow)

- Experience with REST API testing and tools like Postman or JMeter

- Solid grasp of CI/CD and integrating test suites into deployment pipelines

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

- Experience testing ReactJS and React Native applications

- Ability to create well-structured, reusable, and maintainable test cases

Preferred:

- Experience with performance testing and accessibility standards (WCAG)

- Familiarity with DevOps processes and cloud-based infrastructure

- Understanding of security and data protection principles
