Role: Principal QA Automation Engineer

Location: Miramar, FL (33027) or Dallas, TX (75254) - 3x onsite

Duration: 5 months C2H

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in testing and solution design, development, and implementation of automation testing in SAP
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP SD
• Experience using automation tools such as Tricentis Tosca, UFT, or Worksoft Certify to design, build, and maintain automation scripts
• Understanding of programming languages, such as ABAP, Java, C#,Python, and deployment tools (Turnover, QGM/Solution Manager)
• Experience with CI/CD integration in test automation and devOps practices

Plusses

• SAP upgrade/migration experience from ECC to S/4 HANA
• Experience in a sales and distribution organization involving multiple SKUs

Overview

Our distribution client is looking for a Principal QA Automation Engineer to join their team. This QA will be responsible for documentation, planning, execution, and validation of tests related to SAP modules. They will design and build automation scripts and integrate with CI/CD pipelines. The candidate will also identify test data requirements and coordinate/schedule testing programs with project and program teams. The engineer will identify areas for automation and create a test strategy, collaborating with business analysts, functional consultants, and developers to understand business requirements and technical specifications. They will report on an defects, test results, and test status and communicate any issues to the development team for resolution.
