Expected deliverables from an Ideal Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We expect you to collaborate with us in an agile work environment

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Develop detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test scenarios, and test results.
• Execute manual test cases to identify software defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing on various software applications.
• Should be able to Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for both functional & non-functional testing including performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Validate software features, functionality, and user interfaces to ensure they meet specified requirements.
• Analyze and report test results to stakeholders, including identifying defects and potential Improvements
• Work closely with developers to identify and troubleshoot issues in test environments

What qualifications & experiences you should have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related field)
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant work experience in an Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps
• Experience in SQL
• Experience in API Testing and DB level testing
• Experience in utilizing automated testing tools and scripts to streamline non-functional testing processes and improve efficiency
• Hands on experience in QA automation utilizing Cypress or Selenium
• Strong knowledge on source control tools such as GIT and Bitbucket
• Proficiency in utilizing JIRA and XRay for testing purposes is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
