Position: Senior Automation test engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Python and Selenium for web applications.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify testing requirements and define the scope of automated testing.
• Create and execute comprehensive test cases and scenarios, ensuring full test coverage of functional and regression tests.
• Maintain and update existing automation frameworks, tools, and scripts to align with evolving application code and business requirements.
• Identify, log, and track defects in the testing process, working closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Perform root cause analysis on failures and work with the team to implement corrective actions.
• Optimize automated tests to improve performance and reduce testing time while ensuring thorough test coverage.
• Write clear and concise test documentation, reports, and test results.
• Continuously research and evaluate new testing tools and techniques to improve automation capabilities.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices in Python development, automation testing, and Selenium framework.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python programming and software development.
• 4+ years of experience with Selenium for web-based automation testing.
• Strong experience with test automation.
• Proven experience in creating and maintaining robust automated test suites for web applications.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web technologies.
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
