Job Description

Position Summary:

The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst plans, designs, and executes comprehensive test plans, test scripts, and process workflows to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. This position works closely with project teams, developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to uphold quality standards, mitigate risks, and verify that solutions meet user requirements and align with industry best practices. The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst relies on a strong analytical mindset, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving defects to that the end products meet quality standards and strengthen the organization’s efficiency.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities

  • Plan testing in accordance with project requirements and delivery schedule
  • Design and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases from business and technical requirements
  • Troubleshoot, document, and escalate issues observed during testing
  • Develop and refine quality acceptance standards for testing requirements and processes
  • Analyze deficiencies within the system performance and prepare recommendations for system resolutions
  • Collaborate with IT, end users, and selected vendors to ensure compliance with established quality assurance standards and best practices
  • Create and maintain quality assurance testing environments
  • Execute and maintain automated tests, troubleshoot and fix issues, and review results
  • Track, report, and present testing outcome to project team, Firm’s senior management and project sponsors

Job Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
  • At least seven (7) years of related work experience
  • Advanced knowledge of quality control and quality assurance methodology
  • Advanced knowledge of JIRA, TestRail, and other quality assurance testing tools
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Experience with test management tools
  • Experience with test automation frameworks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to work independently and under own direction and initiative

Target Hiring Range $107,000 - $150,000

Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWE provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
