We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation frameworks, scripting, and continuous integration practices. You will play a key role in ensuring software quality by developing automated tests, improving test strategies, and working closely with developers and QA teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc.)
• Work closely with developers and QA teams to identify test cases for automation
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, etc.)
• Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA or similar test management tools
• Perform performance and load testing using tools like JMeter, Gatling, or similar
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies and ensure best practices in automation testing
• Continuously improve automation test coverage and efficiency

Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• [6+] years of experience in test automation and quality assurance.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, etc.
• Experience in working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, etc.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.)
• Knowledge of containerization and cloud environments (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, etc.)
• ISTQB certification or similar is a plus.
