Talent Connect Group (TCG) are working with a high-growth FinTech who is looking for an experienced Python Developer to join their engineering team and help build scalable, real-time risk systems. You'll be working with large datasets, refactoring legacy scripts, and developing performance-critical tools using Python and C++.

What you’ll be doing:

- Refactor and modularize existing Python scripts for scalability and maintainability

- Build real-time risk systems using microservices architecture

- Handle data-heavy environments with a strong focus on memory management and processing efficiency

- Integrate tools with external systems

- Create thorough documentation for internal and external use

What we’re looking for:

- Prior experience in trading or FinTech environments

- Advanced Python skills (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib)

- Solid C++ knowledge for performance-critical modules

- Strong understanding of data structures and large-scale data processing

- Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex tasks

- Comfortable in Windows environments

- Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB

- Experience with at least one Python web framework

Bonus if you have:

- Exposure to machine learning tools (Scikit-Learn, anomaly detection, predictive modeling)

- Experience integrating ML/AI into decision-making or risk systems
