Role :: Senior Python Developer

A U.S.-based company that is providing cutting-edge shipping software to assist e-commerce businesses in managing their shipping operations, is looking for a Senior Python Developer. The developer will be responsible for creating new features and modules as well as maintaining those that already exist. World-class e-commerce solutions are offered by the company, including a robust and user-friendly shipping system that enables businesses to track parcels, verify addresses, print mailing labels, compare shipping costs, and much more. The company has successfully managed to secure more than $152mn during their Series E round of funding.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work together with stakeholders and other engineers to guarantee a flawless user experience

• Keep abreast on the most recent developments in software development trends and technologies, and suggest enhancements to our tech stack

• Adopt an ownership mindset, set an example, and accept responsibility for the product

• Acknowledge and improve the entire process of developing software, starting with use case analysis and continuing through development, testing, and deployment

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software developer

• Extensive experience working with Python and related technologies

• Prolific understanding and knowledge of Django, DynamoDB, and PostgreSQL

• In-depth development experience and knowledge of UI component is required

• Familiarity with UI development is desirable

• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written
