Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in the grocery store sector. We are a leader in the construction industry, and have offices in the Bay area and Los Angeles. We are looking for a Sr Project Manager in Rancho Cucamonga to help serve our clients in the greater Los Angeles area. Our clients mainly serve in the grocery space, and we also do refrigeration upgrades as well! Our projects mainly range from small projects up to a $1M.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of grocery store projects, ensuring they meet budget and timeline requirements while adhering to our high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple grocery store projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, construction, and operations to ensure project success.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to report on project status and address any concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to grocery store construction and operation.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the grocery store or retail sector, specifically with Whole Foods or similar grocery stores/supermarkets.
- Strong understanding of grocery store operations and construction processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or related field; PMP certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with grocery chains such as Albertsons, Trader Joe's, Safeway, and others is highly desirable.
