As a Senior Project Manager- Transportation, you will be responsible for a variety of projects, taking ownership from start to finish. What are the core responsibilities for the role? * Manage and lead Horrocks design teams to deliver transportation projects * Develop and track scope, budget, and schedules for transportation projects to successfully deliver projects * Solicit and manage subconsultant engineering services * Interface with public and private sector clients including state and municipal agencies * Coordinate and conduct meetings with project stakeholders * Coordinate with office management and other project managers to share resources * Manage Quality Control/Quality Assurance activities per Horrocks' Quality Program * Cultivate client relationships and pursue business development opportunities Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies: * Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering * Professional Engineering license in AZ * 10+ years of Project Management Experience * Preferred 5-10 years of DOT experience * Willingness to work on projects locally or in workshare with other offices * Possess a proven history of meeting project deadlines and budgets * Solid written and oral communication skills * Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Proficiency with MS Office application * Experience with project accounting practices and systems * Knowledge and experience with Open Roads Designer, InRoads and/or Geopak, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and other applicable software common to the field of transportation engineering * Experience in managing technical staff and project teams * Ability to manage several projects concurrently Why would a candidate want this job?
