Your Role & Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive project charter, clearly defining scope, goals, and resource needs.
* Create and socialize governance structures and role clarity to ensure accountability and transparency.
* Facilitate cross-agency communication, ensuring consistent updates on project milestones and decision points.
* Coordinate planning and collaboration among diverse stakeholders including government, healthcare, and social service entities.
* Develop and manage detailed implementation and reinvestment plans aligned with CMS and federal requirements.
* Build structured timelines and track key dependencies across workstreams.
* Create and maintain a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to guide deliverables.
* Continuously assess risks and drive strategic solutions to keep the project on track.
* Document and maintain all essential project artifacts, including charters, scope documents, and status reports.
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
* 8+ years of experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects, ideally in healthcare or government sectors.
* Proven ability to develop governance structures, facilitate collaboration, and define scope for large initiatives.
* Strong understanding of CMS requirements, Medicaid frameworks, and cross-sector healthcare strategies.
* Expertise in building project plans, timelines, risk assessments, and WBS documentation.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Bonus Points If You Have:
* Prior experience managing Medicaid projects or similar state/federal healthcare programs.
* Familiarity with reinvestment strategies and Medicaid policy implementation.
* Experience working with corrections, managed care, or county-level agencies.
Education & Certifications You Need:
* Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
