Anchor-Ventana Glass is seeking a motivated Senior Project Manager with experience in the commercial glazing industry to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for simultaneous management of multiple projects from submittal stage to close out, while utilizing internal and external resources in the most efficient manner. This role requires excellent leadership skills, strong knowledge of glazing systems, and a commitment to maintaining safety and efficiency as well as mentoring and developing others.

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  
  

Experience

• 10 years of experience in commercial contract glazing including a minimum of 3 years managing projects valued at $2 Million or more.
• Support multiple glazing projects from inception to completion; capable of mentoring and training the PM role.
• Strong knowledge of glazing systems, materials, and fabrication/installation techniques with proven track record of managing large-scale glazing projects.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedule to track job progress.
• Coordinate with clients and field supervisors to ensure smooth project execution and installation.
• Conduct regular site visits to attend job meetings, coordinate project installation with field supervisor, monitor project status, quality control and minimize potential problems.
• Prepare and submit RFI’s, shop drawings, change orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Manage and document project progress, including contracts, drawings and specifications utilizing appropriate software and procedures.
• Monitor shop fabrication, project costs and track materials and labor.
• Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, vendors and other industry professionals.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
  
  

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Excellent oral and written communication skills with customers, suppliers, architects, management team and coworkers.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Proficient in building envelope systems and mitigating water intrusion risks.
• Experience supporting commercial service preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, Teams.
• Comprehend and read construction plans, structural and shop drawings, specifications, generating accurate take-offs and estimates.
• Allocate resources, monitor project progress, and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Help foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Knowledge of Construct True software preferred.
