Your day at NTT DATA

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead and coordinate IT projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities encompass project planning, team management, stakeholder communication, and adherence to quality standards. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring project success while aligning with organizational goals.

What You'll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:

• Develop project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Allocate resources effectively and manage project risks.
• Monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and adjust plans as needed.
• Quality Control and Governance:
• Adhere to project management governance guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Communication:
• Regularly update clients, executives, and other stakeholders on project status. Address concerns, manage expectations, and maintain positive relationships.
• Supplier and Vendor Coordination:
• Source and manage external suppliers or vendors. Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of services or products.
• Budgeting and Financial Management:
• Create and manage project budgets. Track expenses, approve spending, and optimize resource allocation.
• Team Management:
• Build and lead cross-functional project teams. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and foster collaboration. Ensure team members meet project goals.
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or equivalent.
• Experience: 10+ years in project management, IT Project experience essential
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and governance principles.
