Summary

We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of healthcare construction projects. This role requires a strong background in managing complex healthcare facilities, a solid understanding of regulatory standards, and excellent leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, keeps projects on time and within budget, and ensures the highest safety and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Direct and manage healthcare construction projects from start to finish, ensuring scope, timeline, and financial goals are met.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main liaison for clients, healthcare administrators, contractors, and vendors. Provide consistent updates, manage expectations, and resolve project concerns.
  • Budget & Schedule Oversight: Establish and maintain project budgets, timelines, and resource allocations. Proactively manage and address potential cost overruns and scheduling conflicts.
  • Compliance & Safety: Guarantee full adherence to healthcare construction codes, building regulations, safety protocols, and infection control measures.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors, promoting strong collaboration and accountability.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify risks early, develop mitigation plans, and manage unforeseen challenges to maintain project progress.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee site work to ensure high-quality construction outcomes that meet both client and regulatory standards.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Manage all project records, including meeting notes, submittals, RFIs, and change orders. Provide routine progress reports to stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement: Stay current with healthcare construction trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance project delivery.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of construction project management, with at least 3 years in healthcare construction environments.
  • Certifications: PMP, LEED accreditation, or OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare building codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficient with project management tools.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong financial management and scheduling expertise.
