Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a background in general contracting and federal construction projects. This is a full-time, in-office position based in the DMV area. The ideal candidate will lead projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, contract requirements, and company standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee federal construction projects from planning through closeout.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal contracting regulations (FAR/DFARS).
  • Lead project meetings, prepare reports, and maintain documentation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with federal agencies and contracting officers.
  • Identify and resolve project issues proactively.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of project management experience in federal construction.
  • Proven experience with general contracting and government contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Familiarity with USACE/NAVFAC, GSA, or other federal agency standards.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Must be local to the DMV area and willing to work on-site in our office and project locations.
  • Security clearance or ability to obtain one is a plus.
