Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and manage civil infrastructure projects in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management and delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining a focus on quality and safety.


Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, ensuring that all project objectives are met.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication between engineers, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimise any impact on project delivery.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project costs and expenditures, ensuring alignment with the project budget and reporting on any variances.
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Promote and enforce adherence to HSE standards, ensuring full compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Contract Management: Oversee contracts and agreements with contractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management and key stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, risks, and any deviations from the project plan.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field. Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or similar are desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in civil and infrastructure projects, with at least 3-5 years in a project management role.
  • Regional Experience: Prior experience working on projects in the Middle East, particularly in Dubai or the UAE, is highly preferred.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, project management methodologies, and construction practices.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Demonstrated experience in managing project budgets and controlling costs.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in managing and motivating teams to achieve project objectives.
