Terapac is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager for a full-time position based in Darwin. This role requires expertise in design and construction management. Key Responsibilities:

Project Governance

• Continuously improve existing project governance structures through active collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and implement project portfolio performance monitoring systems.

Lead Project Portfolio Delivery

• Manage project teams, including engineers, coordinators, and junior project managers.
• Conduct resource and budget forecasting.
• Oversee the implementation of performance monitoring systems.

Business Operations & Project Management

• Handle contract management.
• Track project costs and cost codes.
• Manage personnel training programs.
• Oversee information management and operational systems.
• Engage legal support as needed.
• Manage third-party software solutions.
• Develop and present business cases.
• Dispute resolution

Qualifications & Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A tertiary qualification in engineering.
• At least 8 years of experience in delivering multi-disciplinary engineering design and construction projects.
• Strong project management skills, including the development and maintenance of information management systems, precise record-keeping, task tracking, and schedule/resource management.
• Essential skills such as stakeholder management, strategic communication, interpersonal abilities, and critical and lateral thinking.
• Experience in business operations management is highly valued.
