Senior Project Manager - (IAM/IAM Delivery Manager) Burbank/Orlando/NYC

Optomi, in partnership with a leader in the entertainment industry, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery and implementation of Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives—specifically focused on authentication solutions such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and passwordless technologies. This role will involve close collaboration with internal teams, third-party vendors, and leadership to ensure successful execution of IAM-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Project & Product Delivery

• Drive end-to-end project execution of IAM authentication initiatives (e.g., SSO, MFA, passwordless access).
• Ensure timely delivery, scope alignment, and smooth transition to operations/support teams.
• Collaborate with IAM architects, engineers, and organizational change managers.

Stakeholder & Vendor Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for incoming IAM-related requests.
• Conduct discovery sessions with internal teams to understand requirements.
• Prioritize and communicate project needs with stakeholders and leadership.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors (e.g., Okta) to ensure timely and complete deliverables.

Team Coordination & Communication

• Lead team meetings, manage timelines, and drive action items to closure.
• Influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Identify dependencies and secure commitments across departments.

Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain delivery roadmap for IAM initiatives.
• Track progress using JIRA and Confluence.
• Provide regular project updates and status reports to leadership.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in IAM or security-focused roles.
• 2+ years of project delivery or program management experience.
• Strong knowledge of authentication technologies: SSO, MFA, passwordless, federated identity (SAML, OIDC).
• Familiar with Zero Trust security principles and risk-based authentication.
• Hands-on experience implementing platforms like Okta in large enterprises.
• Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Experience in complex, matrixed environments.
