The Opportunity:
Our client is an award-winning Architecture and Interior Design firm. Headquartered in Providence, RI this team is seeking to add a senior team member with a strong suite of client facing technical expertise and project management skills. The firm is recognized for their work in hospitality, mixed-use and multifamily design, with the goal of expanding to other community-focused sectors. That said, experience in other project types is welcomed.
About the Role:
As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll take the lead in delivering exceptional client-focused solutions while overseeing dynamic, multi-disciplinary projects. Core Competencies:
- Lead Multi-Phase Projects: Manage multiple projects from conception through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and design goals are met.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and primary contact to address evolving needs.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide staff, fostering a collaborative, positive, and productive team culture that supports professional growth.
- Business Development: Support marketing efforts by curating proposals, cultivating relationships, and pursuing opportunities to grow the firm’s portfolio.
- Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Coordinate seamlessly with consultants, engineers, and contractors to maintain project quality and efficiency.
- Technical Excellence: Oversee design development, construction documentation, and on-site administration, ensuring projects meet the highest standards.
- Quality Assurance: Implement QA/QC processes to ensure all deliverables align with company standards, client expectations, and code requirements.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with industry trends and technologies through ongoing professional development and certifications.
- Impactful Design: Drive innovation and sustainability in design, creating spaces that resonate with clients and communities alike.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 12 years or more of experience working at an integrated Architecture or Interior Design firm.
- Professionally accredited degree in Architecture, Interior Design or equivalent.
- Licensure and accreditation preferred.
- LEED, WELL, and/or other sustainability accreditations a plus.
- Proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Expertise in architectural standards, and construction materials and methods.
- Able to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Strong graphic and visualization skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Fluency in design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, Bluebeam, and/or Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
