About the job:


 

In this role, you will oversee the successful planning and execution of water and wastewater projects within our Capital Delivery Group, working in close collaboration with our framework partners. You will ensure that all assigned outputs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.


 

Key Responsibilities


 

  • Lead a multi-disciplinaryprogramandprojectteamstosuccessfullydeliver capitalandcustomeroutcomes, building and maintaining a high performing team culture.
  • Translate strategic objectives and lead communication with stakeholders and teams to ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes.
  • Identify and support continuous improvements of project and processes that results in benefits to the broader Delivering Capital together team.
  • Support a safety performance within the Delivery group, ensuring that WHS is monitored regularly and complying with internal and external, acts and regulations standards.
  • Lead and managethe delivery ofwork packagesthat are highly complex due to the number of stakeholders, technical risk or capital value, typically exceeding $100m.

About the Person


 

An ideal candidate will demonstrate proven Project Management experience, ideally across Dams with a key focus on safety.


 

To be successful in this role, it is necessary to demonstrate exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, contractor management and strong negotiation skills.


 

  • Demonstrated experience in Project Management across cost, schedule, risk and change management.
  • Have a tertiary qualification in Engineering/related degree or significant industry experience.
  • Proven experience in managing large, complex or strategic infrastructure projects or programs of work.
  • Prior experience leading and supporting a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Have the ability to influence with strong negotiation skills.
