Position Summary:

I'm seeking a high-performing Senior Project Finance Analyst to join a dynamic and fast-paced team in Washington, D.C. In this role, you will play a critical part in evaluating, structuring, and executing project-level financing—including debt, tax equity, and M&A transactions, across my client's growing portfolio. This is a high-growth opportunity for a candidate eager to advance their career while supporting one of the most active Community Solar developers in the U.S.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project finance models across the full project lifecycle (development, construction, operations).
  • Assist in structuring and executing tax equity and debt transactions for both individual and portfolio-level financings.
  • Support investor and lender due diligence processes, including managing data rooms, responding to RFIs, and reviewing term sheets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including development, legal, engineering, and asset management, to gather inputs and validate assumptions.
  • Analyze acquisition opportunities and support valuation efforts in coordination with the M&A team.
  • Track and analyzethe financial performance of operating projects relative to underwriting.
  • Prepar and present internal and external presentations for investment committees, financing partners, and senior management.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or Master’s a plus.
  • 3–5 years of experience in renewable energy project finance, investment banking, structured finance, or private equity.
  • Proven experience with financial modeling for project-level investments in solar or other infrastructure assets.
  • Knowledge of tax equity structures, partnership flips, and debt financing instruments.
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy incentive programs (e.g., ITC, IRA provisions).
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with modeling software (e.g., PVSyst, Helioscope) a plus.
