Summary:

The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for breaking down project requirements into modules and estimating the development effort. They oversee project execution, conduct design and code reviews, and ensure adherence to standards. Additionally, they actively participate in customer meetings, provide regular updates, and ensure thorough testing at unit, module, and integration levels to deliver defect-free solutions.

Position Overview:

We are looking for technology enthusiasts who have expertise in any technology stack like HTML, CSS, JS, ReactJs, Angular, etc, and are willing to learn and transition into the JavaScript stack. We are offering a unique position where you will use your web technologies skills to build GUIs that will talk to peripheral hardware components over USB/Ethernet.

These components could be simple evaluation boards to complex IoT devices. Experience in working with hardware is a plus, though it is not a must.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Interact with the customer and gather requirements and document the Software Requirements Specifications (SRS).
• Breakdown the requirement at a module level into a list of development tasks and estimate the necessary effort.
• Own the execution of the Project; Perform code, design reviews & follow the necessary standards.
• Actively participate in customer meetings, ensure that the customer and internal stakeholders are updated through weekly reports and meetings as needed .
• Ensure that the code module/ project is tested at the unit, module and integration levels to identify defects/bugs and fix them before delivering to the customer.

Qualification:

• Minimum academic qualification is a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 3-6 years of experience in front-end frameworks and languages such as HTML, CSS, JS, ReactJs, Angular, etc., and/or backend technologies such as NodeJs, ASP.NET, ASP .NET core etc and/or Database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL server etc.
• Expert at writing unit tests and defining coding standards.
• Good understanding of HTML/CSS capabilities.
• Experience using node.js for large-scale projects is a plus.
