Position Overview:

The position of Senior Project Engineer will analyze and coordinate the schedule, timeline, procurement, staffing, and budget of data center project and report to Construction Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create, manage and track RFI’s from the field to the architect/engineer of record.
  • Remit submittals from subcontractors to A/E for approval.
  • Review subcontractor invoicing.
  • Aid in the development of cost estimates.
  • Prepare the SWPPP documentation for the site and submit applications for state and local SWPPP permits/NOIs for the project.
  • Support the project manager or superintendent in the development and dissemination of the project schedule.
  • Respond to inquiries about the project's scope and schedule.
  • Maintain and update project documentation.
  • Track costs and monitor project progress diligently.
  • Assist project team with conflict resolution between owner, contractor and subcontractor.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Review plans and other technical documents.
  • Assist project manager/owner in obtaining building permits for the project.

Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to read and comprehend plans and specifications.
  • Skilled in effective communication.
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, possesses excellent problem-solving skills, and consistently meets deadlines.
  • Able to complete tasks independently and take initiative.

Baseline Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field of study
  • Computer proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point), Procore and other applicable software programs

Experience: Three to seven years in a similar position

Travel and Schedule: Monday - Friday, limited travel

Expected Salary Range: $130,000 to $150,000 + annual bonus
