About The Role

Reporting into the Project Manager, you will play a key role in Client interface and engagement for work packages, technical queries, QA/QC and engineering.

This position will be a FIFO from Australian capital cities to Pilbara, WA on a 19 days on/9 days off roster.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance of the project to ensure industry codes and practices are adhered to, quality assurance policies are followed, and performance standards are met.
• Identify and resolve scope discrepancies, provide technical support and manage scope change control.
• Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies.
• Monitor quality and quantity of incoming equipment and materials.
• Manage QA/QC systems.
• Support the Project Manager and Site Team in preparing accurate monthly reports.
• Participate in planning and forecasting of budgets and timelines.
• Check work drawings, construction and specifications against site plans and conditions and arrange corrections or modifications where necessary.
• Generate technical queries and requests for information.
• Compile and maintain required engineering registers and document management systems.
• Collaborate with site-based personnel including supervisory staff, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, consultants, the client, regulatory authorities and industry body.
  
  

About You

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Previous site-based and in-field experience in Electrical Construction works while working for the Installation/Construction Contractor.
• Background in E&I works (from cable pulling to wiring terminations).
• Proven experience with managing QA/QC system.
• Experience with Navisworks and 3D models.
• Good communication skills, ability to interface with the client team.
