JOB DESCRIPTION:

Arconcepts is seeking a full-time, Senior Project Architect / Lead Construction Detailer with a minimum of 10-years of professional experience leading a variety of projects to complement our vibrant team of design professionals.  


The Candidate will be responsible for managing all construction documents, ensuring design constructability, managing the firm’s documentation production standards, and assisting with specification writing. These responsibilities will include development of details and specifications and coordinating efforts with other disciplines/consultants. This position requires strong leadership skills and attention to detail.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be an active part of a collaborative and diverse team.

• Oversee all project teams including architectural and engineering disciplines, and assume responsibility for the development, coordination, and quality of all construction documents produced by the firm.

• Collaborate with and coordinate efforts of consultants to ensure integrated project documents that support the project design and performance goals.

• Provide leadership to project teams, promoting a culture of mentorship and continuous professional development.


QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience – applicants do not need to be a licensed architect.

• Experience in Specifications Writing.

• Knowledge of ADA and Building Codes.

• Knowledge of owner-architect contracts, procedures and concepts.


SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

• Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to multitask and adapt within a dynamic environment.

• Proficiency in Construction Documentation organization and development.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Capable of traveling to and from project sites for meetings, field observations, reviews and evaluation purposes.

• Ability to use various equipment for communication and documentation purposes.

• Visual activities required to perform responsibilities.
