Black Hills State University is seeking applicants to fill a Senior Programmer/Analyst position. This position has the ability to work part-time remotely with prior permission from supervisor.
DUTIES:
* To develop and maintain assigned information systems, reports, and data extracts.
* To develop and maintain established and new web technology and integration.
* Assist the department of Institutional Research with analytics, forecasting, and decision support tasks.
* Apply and expand client business knowledge with the use of new technology tools to meet the needs of clients and their business units.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience in data programming/analytics/reporting tools/web graphics
* Bachelor's or Technical Institute degree in technology, data/web programming
* Position is on-campus, but remote work is approved with permission
* Strong logic, communication and programming skills are necessary
* Ability to provide data sharing across multiple systems and platforms
COMMENTS:
This position reports to the Director of Administrative Information Management Services at BHSU main campus in Spearfish, SD. The position will be shared between the AIMS technology department and support for the department of Institutional Research depending on workload, priority and campus need.
