Job Summary Candidates should have a passion for technology in financial services, strong strategic command, an engaging executive presence, exceptionally strong written and verbal communication skills, expertise in relationship-building, and the ability to manage large complex programs with energy and excitement. Major Responsibilities * Provide strategic program leadership and drive program alignment in a matrixed, highly complex regulated environment. * Develop and implement strategic technical program plans, aligning with organizational goals and cross-functional collaboration. * Oversee complex technology programs and project execution, managing resources, budgets, and timelines while mitigating risks and addressing roadblocks. * Champion continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities and incorporating best practices. * Proactively tackle and independently lead risk mitigation to solve issues through problem-solving, collaboration, and escalation. * Clearly communicate and articulate program status, risks, and impact to various stakeholders, adapting communication styles to different audiences. * Spearhead large, scaled Program Management/Governance. * Design, develop, and manage milestone plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements. * Ensure initiatives are delivered on time and on budget within a challenging environment while simultaneously managing effective organizational change. * Partner cross-functionally with business and partner groups to provide strategic and tactical thought leadership to effectively deliver against program commitments. * Work with cross-functional teams and influence others to work toward common goals, regardless of resource and time constraints. * Report on program status, risks, issues, and decisions to a wide variety of constituents across the company; flag critical risks and/or concerns. * Track financials related to technology expenditure including software, hardware, and resource allocation * Ensure the capital investment of the firm is managed efficiently. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, finance or related. Master's Degree or MBA preferred * 12+ years' of program management and people management experience. * 12+ years of project management experience leading cross functional programs * 10+ years of experience working in the financial services industry * 12+ years of leadership experience. * Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification * Preferred knowledge includes payments, transaction banking, commercial lending, supply chain finance, and/or capital markets, with relevant and transferrable knowledge being highly valued but not required. * Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive program efforts. * Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent program management in a highly regulated environment, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment. * Display a passion for coaching and developing others through their leadership style and presence, whether as direct reports or extended team members. * Excellent communication and partnership skills are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company, as well as external stakeholders to manage, inform, and influence outcomes. * Ability to understand, communicate, and manage technical details and dependencies of a program. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. The typical base pay range for this role is between $133K - $162K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
