You Are

UST is searching for a Senior Program Manager role who can manage the customer SLT leadership etc. who runs a global implementation, has strong budgeting skills, able to speak to executives, and has assertive personality.

The Opportunity

  • Hybrid: In office/remote
  • Applies expert knowledge of best practices, extensive project management experience, advanced domain knowledge and proven ability to solve complex problems and improve products, processes and services.
  • Establishes expectations and communicates standards for effective project management across the project portfolio, including developing charters, plans, schedules, and budgets; allocating resources; monitoring performance against schedule, budget, and quality targets; managing changes, issues and risks; and providing regular communication to program teams, stakeholders, and other areas within the organization.
  • Creates and manages program plans and all other well-known program controls and directs the work of other project managers.
  • Provides leadership and direction to other project management professionals and project team members to create and manage project plans and all other well-known project controls.
  • Cultivates broad partnerships and applies advanced leadership strategies to develop sophisticated solutions and innovative strategies that improve products and services and deliver business value.

What You Need

  • Total 20 years of experience with 15+ years of complex project management experience in a fast-paced technology, financial services, or insurance environment
  • Expert risk mitigation and issue resolution skills; demonstrated ability to identify challenges and determine solutions
  • Expert communication and change management skills; demonstrated ability to effectively target communications and influence a wide range of audiences, from individual contributors to senior leaders
  • Expert project management, leadership and vendor management skills; demonstrated ability to evaluate stakeholder objectives and scope for feasibility, understanding and scheduling to ensure projects meet success criteria and deliver business value
  • Highly advanced or Expert people management skills, demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop associates, including the ability to delegate effectively
  • Highly advanced or Expert knowledge and experience with various software development methodologies; demonstrated ability to discern "fit for purpose" methods and apply rationale to produce desired project outcomes
  • Highly advanced knowledge of finance and/or accounting principles, standards and rules; demonstrated ability to apply financial management principles to projects under management

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: St. Louis, Missouri

Compensation Range: $120,000-$180,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
