Summary

As a Sr. Program Manager, you’ll lead new product development projects from early concept through production launch. You’ll be the driving force behind cross-functional teams, timelines, budgets, and customer satisfaction—ensuring everything stays on track, under control, and aimed at success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) through the full product development lifecycle.
  • Own the program schedule, cost, risk mitigation, and communication.
  • Conduct phase-gate reviews and regular project status updates.
  • Manage and monitor performance, identify risks, and drive issue resolution.
  • Support new business proposals, including estimating NRE costs and schedules.
  • Ensure pricing and costing are accurate based on resources and risk.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers—ensuring timely updates and support.
  • Collaborate across departments and occasionally across sites.
  • Maintain program documentation and reporting tools (schedules, WBS, risk registers, etc.).

What You Bring

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience, including:

o At least 3 years managing new product development (NPD) programs/projects.

o Leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.

  • Strong knowledge of program management tools and practices (PMP certification required).
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent programs in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience working in at least one of these sectors: Aerospace, Defense, or Commercial.
  • Skilled with MS Project and MS Office; experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication—clear, direct, and effective with all levels of stakeholders.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Sciences, Business, or a related field.

You’ll Fit In If You...

  • Are a natural problem solver who doesn’t just raise flags—you also bring solutions.
  • Thrive in cross-functional settings and can juggle shifting priorities.
  • Understand how to balance customer needs with internal goals.
  • Don’t mind asking tough questions or diving deep into program issues.
  • Can run meetings that actually get things done—and follow through on actions.
