Summary

This role sits at the heart of large-scale, high-impact national programs. You’ll play a key leadership role in the planning, coordination, and execution of events and related research initiatives. As a senior member of the team, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring events run smoothly, milestones are met, and key partnerships are nurtured.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead the day-to-day operations and delivery of national events
  • Manage two key workstreams: Operational Support and Projects
  • Serve as a primary liaison and operational representative for external stakeholders, including government agencies, advisory groups, and delivery partners
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of assessment initiatives
  • Oversee planning and execution schedules, resource allocation, and platform readiness testing
  • Monitor event performance and lead the resolution of incidents and issues
  • Ensure consistent and timely stakeholder communication during high-stakes assessment periods



About You:


You bring strong leadership skills with a collaborative, proactive approach to problem-solving and stakeholder engagement. You are confident working with senior stakeholders and navigating complex project landscapes with professionalism and poise.


Ideal Experience:


  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex, large-scale operational projects
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with government or education bodies
  • Ability to lead high-performing teams and foster cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
  • Experience in the education or technology sector is desirable but not essential

The salary range for this role is $145-155k+super and you will be eligble for non-profit salary packaging benefits.


A flexible work arrangement is offered with offices based in Melbourne CBD.
