Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in DoD communications systems to lead the execution of complex defense programs. This individual will be responsible for managing all phases of program life cycles—from capture and planning through execution and delivery—ensuring alignment with customer expectations, technical requirements, cost, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end DoD communication programs, including planning, execution, risk management, and customer engagement.
• Serve as the primary interface with government customers, stakeholders, and internal cross-functional teams.
• Ensure programs are delivered on time and within budget, meeting all performance and compliance requirements.
• Oversee program schedules, budgets, deliverables, and technical milestones using industry-standard PM methodologies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, logistics, contracts, and finance to ensure program success.
• Support proposal development, pricing strategies, and capture planning for follow-on or adjacent programs.
• Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition processes, security requirements, and contractual obligations.
• Provide accurate and timely program status reports to internal leadership and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• 8+ years of experience supporting the U.S. Department of Defense in technical or programmatic roles.
• 5+ years of program/project management experience, preferably in communications, satellite systems, or tactical networks.
• Strong understanding of DoD acquisition life cycles, contract structures (e.g., FFP, CPFF), and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, budgets, and customer relationships effectively.
• Experience with tactical, strategic, or SATCOM communications programs is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM), Agile/Waterfall methodologies, and program controls.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active or recent Secret (or higher) clearance.
• PMP certification or similar program management credential.
• Experience working with DISA, U.S. Army, Air Force, or other DoD branches.
• Background in systems integration, fielding, or sustainment of DoD C4ISR or networking systems.
