Summary

Hybrid work Udemy is headquartered in San Francisco with global offices in Australia, India, Ireland, Türkiye, and other US locations. Our robust hybrid work model spans San Francisco, Denver, Ankara, Dublin, and Melbourne. This hybrid position requires two days per week in our Austin office. About you We're seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Product Manager to join our Growth team. In this role, you'll lead initiatives that drive acquisition, discovery, and conversion across our marketplace and consumer subscription offerings. You'll partner closely with Design, Engineering, Data Science, and Marketing to build scalable systems and engaging user experiences that accelerate user acquisition and grow revenue. You'll use your product expertise to identify high-impact opportunities, develop hypotheses, and run experiments that lead to measurable business outcomes. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of user behavior, a strong analytical mindset, and a passion for solving complex, growth-oriented challenges. What you'll be doing * Own the strategy, roadmap, and targets for driving user acquisition and conversion across our marketplace and consumer subscriptions. * Deeply understand user behavior at the point of entry - what brings them in, what keeps them exploring, and what leads them to purchase. * Identify and remove friction points in the conversion funnel, leveraging data to drive decisions and optimize experiences. * Partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Engineering, Design, and Data Science, to build user experiences, launch experiments, and iterate on improvements. * Develop a deep understanding of our customers' needs, competitive landscape, and purchasing behaviors. * Define and track success metrics, balancing short-term wins with long-term growth investments. * Champion a culture of experimentation, shipping fast, learning quickly, and optimizing constantly. What you'll have While this work is based more on the skills a person has than what they have done, we think a typical profile could include the following: * 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2+ years in a consumer growth-focused role. * A proven track record of scaling conversion funnels and enhancing user experiences to drive measurable business impact. * Experience with consumer subscriptions and/or e-commerce marketplaces. * Experience leading a/b testing at scale and interpreting results with a strong analytic mindset. Ability to translate insights into product ideas and turn ideas into impactful outcomes. * Exceptional collaboration skills; you're as comfortable aligning with marketers as you are debating trade-offs with engineers. * A hypothesis-driven mindset and the ability to think both strategically and scrappily.
